Welsh construction joined together to celebrate its great achievements at the 2008 Constructing Excellence in Wales Awards, hosted at the Celtic Manor Resort on Friday, 27 June.

Over 480 members of the Welsh built environment industry witnessed nine awards being presented to companies representing the entire supply chain and the full spectrum of businesses throughout the country.  All of the awards were linked to the core principles of rethinking construction, such as integration, sustainability and innovation, but they also rewarded some of the country’s smaller organisations.

North Wales based, Lawson Construction, won the SME award for its refreshing approach and commitment to investing in its employees and innovative health & safety initiatives.
